Felina Foundation is a Swedish non-profit organization working alongside local initiatives that support children and young people through long-term partnerships, knowledge and sustainable development.
Felina Foundation was created after a year-long journey through Asia and Africa.
What began as curiosity about people, cultures and everyday life slowly became something more. Along the way, we met local organizations, social entrepreneurs and individuals working tirelessly to improve conditions for children and families in their own communities.
One of those meetings eventually became the beginning of Felina Foundation.
We believe lasting change must grow locally. Our role is not to take over, but to support local initiatives with structure, knowledge, financing and long-term partnerships so they can grow independently over time.

We work alongside local organizations to strengthen their everyday work and long-term capacity.
This can include support with organization, planning, structure, communication, partnerships, reporting, and ways to develop or scale their work.
Many local organizations do important work, but lack the time, tools, or network to build long-term financial stability.
Felina Foundation helps develop funding concepts, sponsor models, grant applications, and partnerships with companies, donors, and other organizations.
For Felina, accountability is not only about reporting how funds are used. It is about making sure that the people affected by a project are listened to, informed, respected and given a real possibility to influence what is done in their name.

10 SEPT 2026 - WATER FOR CHANGE
After a few days in Kigali, we finally travelled into the mountains to visit the area where our Water for Change project will be built. Together with our coordinator, Annualite, and the contractor who will lead the work, we also visited a parallel well project that will provide backup during the dry months. Local people, including women, are paid to take part in the construction and will later benefit from the result. We are now looking forward to getting our own project underway. Planning has begun!

Wilde Ganzen - Netherlands and Dunross Foundation - Sweden are major funders for the project. Once the project is fully funded, work begins in Kagarama village this autumn.
